About Us
Vision of Peace Church is a multi-ethnic, multi-generational United Methodist Church located in the suburbs of Washington DC and serves as the English-speaking congregation of the Korean United Methodist Church of Greater Washington. Founded in 1993 under the leadership of Reverend Daniel Shin, Vision of Peace has grown over the years to a congregation of over 200 members representing a variety of ages, professions and cultural backgrounds. In 2009, “Friends Ministry” — the Vision of Peace second service — was created to serve both college students and young adults in the DC metropolitan area.
