Head Pastor: Keith Lee

Pastor Keith Lee loves God, the Bible and the people of God.  Upon graduating from California’s Fuller Seminary with his Masters in Divinity, he felt God’s call to study the Bible in its original language at Hebrew University in Israel.  During furlough in Seoul, he met his wonderful wife, Ji Hyun, in 2001.  They have two daughters.  After nine years of living in Jerusalem, God then spoke into his life once again with a calling to serve at the Korean United Methodist Church of Greater Washington and Vision of Peace Church.  Although living in the area has taken some adjustments — Pastor Keith has lived the majority of his life in locations with beautiful weather such as California, Hawaii and Jerusalem — God’s passion and love for the people in the greater Washington area has filled Keith with a vision of peace, joy, hope, love and restoration for the local community.

Friends Ministry Pastor: In Kwon Jun

Born in 1984 in South Korea, Pastor In Kwon’s family moved to the Dominican Republic as missionaries when he was nine years old.  Living in the DR with plenty of sunshine and love, he grew up learning three languages fluently and has always delighted in making music with various instruments, including his own voice and body. In 2002, In Kwon migrated to the cold and serious land of opportunities and intellectuals, Massachusetts, to study Biblical and Theological Studies at Gordon College. Soon after, in the summer of 2006, he moved to Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC to receive his Masters in Divinity.

Today, he lives in Fairfax, Virginia, and serves to disciple the college students and young adults of VOPC with Pastor Keith Lee. With unshakeable hope, faith, and an unending love and smile, Pastor In Kwon desires that God’s Kingdom will come and God’s will be done on earth as it is in heaven, today.
