“My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command. I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.” (John 15: 12-15).

Friends Ministry is the service at Vision of Peace that is geared toward the College and Young Adult communities of our congregation.  With members representing over 10 local colleges and universities in addition to working professionals, Friends Ministry is a diverse and vibrant group of followers of Christ Jesus.

Above all, it is the passion and focus of our ministry to equip people to know God intimately as His friends, so that we may carry out God’s goodwill and plans throughout our diverse callings, vocations, fields of studies, and spheres of influence in society. We want to bear much fruit for the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ and, without shame, make his name famous in our generation. Come join us and become His friends today.
